MEET YOUR

Mrs. Nelson

I have been teaching since 2004. I started my journey in education in Colorado, where I taught special education. I then came back to Michigan and found my dream job here at Coopersville. During my tenure at Coopersville, I have taught both special education and general education. I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University.

I have many hobbies outside of school. I love to travel, camp, and ANY activity that involves exercise!

I want to make a contribution that will last a lifetime. It is my goal to provide an atmosphere where your child will feel a sense of self-worth. I will set high expectations for your child and promise to do all that I can to guide your child intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. It is my hope that you will also assist your child at home. A strong home and school partnership is a strong indicator of your child's success at school. By working together, I am confident that your child will have the best year possible. Thank you.
